I’m not sure why, but I usually prefer B&W cityscapes, too. In the UK at least, the sky is so often grey.. But if you are wishing to portray a ‘gritty/urban’ feeling, then I’d say vibrant colours aren’t really what you’d be plumbing for!
For sure, I appreciate your input.
Love it!
I agree about cityscapes too. I like your perspective but I think you might need to make the whites a bit stronger and the blacks darker, in other words stronger contrast. You might try playing with it and see how you feel.
Yes, I guess i will have to try this out sometime. Thanks
As much as I think editting is somewhat necesary sometimes I think it matters more on the natural light that makes the shot.
Well, thank you very much too. I always believe in trying to find the right shot rather than manipulate the shot after but I will play around with some post-editing functions too.
Hi Pal Guy
i´m a really vibrant colour fan, but i like very much B&W anyway. I agree with increasing the whites: a stronger contrast would make this pictures much more powerful !!

Thanks Dan, I appreciate it. I have also checked out your blog. Great work.
Great shots. I can really feel the industrial mood in your photos.
Thanks i am glad you have insight into the mood of the photo.
Although most of us Canadians who do not live in Toronto, do not like Toronto, these are great pictures. Truly, I am not one of those Canadians. I visited once and enjoyed Toronto.
Yes, well large cities are always frowned upon by outsiders but there is a subtle respect that is due. I live in Toronto but i love the rest of Ontario, Canada, and the world.
That is a good context to understand it in, the size of the city. We do live in a pretty special place generally and specifically.
For sure. We all have to be reasonable in our judgments. This is not to say that individuals cannot have certain set opinions but they must be reasonable and have creditable support to back they opinions of perspectives up with.
Cheers
normally I find that power lines clutter up my shots, I love that you’ve embraced them and made them part of your art!
Thank you very much. I really noticed the impact of public utilities and I felt as if I should display what usually goes unnoticed.
