Oriental Poppy

I came across these poppies in a local garden and I knew I had to share the photos with others. Although these are not native to Ontario they still serve as wonderful additions to any garden. This particular species is the Oriental Poppy.

This poppy is not cultivated for narcotic usage and it is not the specific species of poppy that symbolizes wartime remembrance. None of the less this flower is very beautiful.
